May is my favorite month. The flowers and trees are blooming with all their vibrant colors, and it is very nice to see the grass so green again. There are many exciting activities planned during the month of May.
On Thursday, May 9th, the 5th grade students will be participating at the 9:00 Mass for Ascension Thursday and Teacher Recognition. Come and pray with us!
It's Book Fair time again! Our homeroom will be going to the Book Fair on Monday, May 13th. This is a great opportunity for your child to choose some exciting books for summer reading.
Autobiographies are due Monday, May 13th. I can't wait to read them!
Students in grades 5 to 8 have been preparing for our Spring Concert which will be held on Wednesday, May 15th, in the gym. Please make sure your child is at school by 6:00 p.m. It promises to be a very entertaining event!
We will be going to Old Fort Niagara on Wednesday, May 22nd. Permission slips will be sent home on Wednesday, May 8th and are due, with the money, no later than Wednesday, May 15th. The students always enjoy this field trip.
On Thursday, May 23rd, the HSA is hosting their annual Hot Dog Cookout. Also, many 5th grade students will be participating in KidBiz as a way to learn what it takes to operate a business. Good luck to all our future business owners.
There will be no school on Friday, May 24th and Monday, May 27th so that we may enjoy a nice, long Memorial Weekend Holiday. Have a great weekend!
