Catholic Tuition Assistance Fund (CTAP)

 

The Catholic Elementary School Tuition Assistance Program (CTAP) has been developed to provide needs-based tuition assistance for Catholic and non-Catholic students registered at any Catholic Elementary school within the Diocese of Buffalo.

 

Any parent or guardian with a Kindergarten to Eighth Grade student who is registered for the 2009-2010 academic year at a Catholic elementary school within the Diocese is eligible to apply for CTAP. Families must demonstrate need for assistance according to an Income Eligibility Scale to qualify for consideration. Families must also commit to paying a minimum of $500 in tuition for their child(ren).

BISON Fund

 

Founded in 1995, the BISON Scholarship Fund is a privately funded tuition assistance program for low-income children.

In 2007, BISON announced a significant expansion of the current program in offering financially eligible St. John's families from Buffalo, Lackawanna, West Seneca, Cheektowaga, Kenmore and the Town of Tonawanda can apply for scholarship assistance.

 

BISON is designed to give parents a full range of choices about their children's education. Families awarded a BISON scholarship will be able to enroll their child in a private grammar school (K-8th Grade) of their choice in the greater Buffalo area.
